The IC3 Institute Embark Program includes a combination of assessments (objectively graded quizzes) that help to recall important information needed when counseling students, and a single assignment – it is practical / application-oriented which will help in implementing techniques learned.
The program is designed to provide foundational knowledge, skills, and core competencies to supplement your current role to provide career guidance support to students. The modules, activities, and assessments are designed to contribute to your understanding of all aspects of career and college counseling including - counseling curriculum, resources, process management, ongoing professional development, etc. The program will equip you with the confidence to support students and parents with the exploratory journey of career and college decision-making - specifically in areas such as subject, undergraduate program, and career decision-making that is best fit for the student.
The teachers who participate in the IC3 Institute are key to advancing the mission of the IC3 Movement. As a part of the IC3 Movement, you can spread awareness about the importance of career and college counseling in schools in and around your region. Your school can be a host for the IC3 Regional Forums, through which you will get an opportunity to interact with faculty and counselors from across the globe and also generate awareness toward college and career counseling in your region. You can participate actively in the Annual IC3 Conference, and inspire more counselors to join the IC3 Institute and to become thought leaders in career counseling in your region. We also encourage our graduates to join the IC3 Institute as faculty. You will need to fill out the application form to volunteer as IC3 Institute faculty, and receive the necessary permission from your school.
