The Opportunity
- By 2030, 825 million youth in low and middle-income nations will leave school without skills needed for the modern workforce
- We can see high youth unemployment rates worldwide
- This problem becomes more complex when contextualized to low-income schools and female students belonging to countries like India
- Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4, the IC3 Institute is working fast towards a future of quality education through quality career and college counseling in every school

Our Approach
- We strongly advocate for counseling to begin as early as grade 8 or 9
- Career guidance should be accessible to every child worldwide
- Therefore we train counselors at no cost and shape their knowledge base, skills, and abilities
- This helps them support schools and enables students
- The IC3 Institute offers a one-year Flagship Program in career and college counseling where the focus lies on empowering and capacity building of schools and teachers

Since its inception in 2018, the IC3 Institute has impacted over 40,000+ high school students across India and Nepal by training counselors, helping set up fully functional Counseling Laboratories within schools, and building the capacity of schools to prepare students for their educational and professional futures. The IC3 Institute aims to train 100,000 counselors and impact 176,000 schools in the next 15 years across South and Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and other world regions.
The IC3 Institute is committed to the principles of inclusion and equity. Our one-year program for teachers is offered to them completely free of cost because we firmly believe that access to high-quality career and college counseling should be the privilege of every student everywhere. We aspire to be the Khan Academy of career and college counseling.
